What is wrong with my friend?

For the past couple days, she's been acting really,,, not herself.? Like yesterday, she thought she was in fourth grade, but we're in eighth grade. She's been acting,,, really scared.? I know it's something to do with her boyfriend Jay and her ex boyfriend Malik, but I can't figure out what it is. She won't tell anyone, and I'm her best friend. But it scares me, because she really, genuinely thought it was 2007, and that she was in fourth grade. Do you have any suggestions as to what happened, and how whoever hurt her, did.?
